White House Landing Vessels

MAHS volunteers documented Hull #4, the northenmost of the vessels vsible along the shoreline at low tide.

The vessel appears to have been a schooner. Although partly buried in the mud, some of the frames out to what appeared to be the turn of bilge and a large, deteriorated timber that was the keelson were visible, seen here and in the image below.

Detailed measurements of hull features were recorded, both in the parts of the vessel that were exposed....

...and portions still submerged.
